EDWARD L GRAEFEN, age 82 years, previously of Chicago Illinois and recently 
residing in Slidell, LA passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014.

Beloved Husband of Irene Elizabeth
Father of David (Margaret) Graefen, Eric Graefen and Barbara Graefen
Step-Father of Beth (Jimmy) Messa and Stan (Nycole) Laff
Brother of Sharlene (Eugene) Thomas
Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Always kind, gentle and generous to all including his four legged friends. He 
was greatly loved by his family and friends. 
He proudly served in the U. S. Army.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
Visitation Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 6:00-9:00 P.M.
Visitation continues on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. Mass at 11:00. 

Interment with military honors will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
