Margaret Allen Grainger passed away in Covington on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 
the age of 83.

Beloved wife by first marriage to Arthur W. Bailey and by second marriage to 
the late Joseph S. Grainger. Loving mother of John Bailey (Margaret) and Anne 
Foy (Charlie). Daughter of the late Emma Bell and Erastus Duke Allen. Sister of 
the late Laura Hogue, Mary Couch and Jimmy Allen all of the Atlanta area. 
Grandmother of James, Lily and Rose Bailey and Elizabeth, Catherine and Sarah 
Foy.

She led an active lifestyle over the years with tennis, golf and bridge, 
achieving the prized designation of Life Master. Through these activities, many 
friendships were developed and nurtured.  

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services 
on Friday, April 18, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, 
Covington, LA 70433 at 1:00 PM with a gathering on Friday from 12:00 noon until 
service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mrs. 
Grainger to be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at St Tammany Parish 
Hospital.

Margaret A. Grainger passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014.
