Valentine H. Kaufmann, Jr. beloved husband of 54 years to Ernestine ÒTinaÓ 
Kaufmann passed away surrounded by his devoted family on Sunday, April 20, 
2014.

Mr. Kaufmann was born April 15, 1941 in New Orleans, LA and has been residing 
in Slidell, LA for the last 11 years. 
He retired from Lance, Inc. after 37 years of service.

He was the loving father of David Kaufmann and wife, Laura; Mark Kaufmann and 
wife, Pam; Chris Kaufmann and wife, Pam.
Brother of: Calvin and wife, Sandy; Carolyn and husband, Michael; Sharon and 
husband, Raymond; and brother-in-law Ronald Borgeois.
Also survived by his 6 grandchildren: David Angelo and wife, ChareeÕ; Lauren 
Kaufmann Navarre and husband, Jason; Mark, Blaine, Rachel and Bryce; great 
grandchildren: Mason, Dyllan and Marshal; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Philippine Gilbert and Valentine H. 
Kaufmann, Sr.; his sister Phyllis K Borgeois; and nephew Harry Kaufmann.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 325 Westchester 
Place, Slidell, LA on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 12:00 P.M.

Entombment will follow in St. RochÕs Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.

Visitation will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Thursday April 24, 
2014 from 10:00A.M. until funeral time.
