Joseph Milton "Bay" Morse passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 in Covington, 
LA. 

He was born in Madisonville, LA on Saturday, March 19, 1927 to Thomas and 
Carrie Perrilloux Morse. 

The beloved husband of 66 years of Lula Mae Vining Morse, he is survived by two 
daughters - Marilyn Morse Pelloat and Syvonne D. Morse; two sons - Ronald J. 
and Terry W. Morse; seven grandchildren - Jodi O'Berry (Mark), Melissa Shirley 
(Bart), Jean, Jr., Jason (Jamie) and Jeffrey (Nicole) Pelloat, Ronald Morse, 
Jr. and Jennifer Aymami (Chris); 19 great grandchildren and 3 great-great 
grandchildren.   

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters - Esther Morse Koppenol 
and Ann Morse Revere and two brothers - John, Sr. and Chester Morse. 

A lifelong resident of Madisonville, Bay was devoted to his family and 
dedicated to the First Baptist Church of Madisonville where he served as 
Deacon. 

He retired from Avondale Shipyards in 1976 after 28 years of loyalty to the 
company. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 11:00 AM on 
Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. 
Covington, LA 70433. A wake is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 28, 
2014 from 6-9:00 PM with visiting hours beginning Tuesday at 10:00 AM. 

Interment at the Morse Cemetery in Bedico, LA will immediately follow services.
