SEAMON WYRES, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014.

Survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Barbara Wright Wyres. Father of 
Patricia Wyres Cocran, husband Eric and the late Seamon Wyres, JR.
Also survived by grandson Michael Earhart, JR.

Son of the late Homer Seamon and Mary Roberts Wyres. Brother of four sisters: 
Frances Von Gorder; Jean Donovan; Sylvia Toscano; Shirly Warren; one brother: 
Herman Wyres; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Seamon is a native of Wiggins MS and moved to New Orleans, LA in 1945 where 
he joined the Navy. He served until 1947. After being discharged from the Navy 
he joined the U.S. Merchant Marines through Seafarers Int. Union and served 
until his retirement in 1988.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service.

Memorial service will be held at the 7th Day Adventist Church, 2448 Gause Blvd 
West, Slidell, LA 70460, Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 11:00AM.
