JAMES S. ÒJIMMYÓ CAPELLA, 81, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Friday, May 2, 
2014, at home in Slidell.

Beloved Husband of Carolyn Battard Capella;
Father of Helen Hays, Cindy Bartholomae (husband Jimmy), Donna Baglio (husband 
Dominick) and Debbie Bolnar (husband Randy);
Son of the late Frank and Maude Capella;
Brother of Patricia Dominick, Laura Lee Brady, Frank ÒChickÓ Capella III;
Also survived by thirteen grandchildren , eight great-grandchildren, many 
nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for the past 29 years, Jimmy 
was an Allstate Agent in New Orleans and Chalmette for 31 years, and was a 
member of the VFW Post 7286 in Covington.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Our Lady of Lourdes 
Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Blvd in Slidell.
Visitation will begin at 10:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon.

Burial will be in Greenwood Mausoleum in New Orleans.

The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice, especialy Cheryl and Gary for 
their compassion and support.

Memorial Gifts may be made to St. Joseph Hospice.
