FAIRBURN, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014. Beloved husband of Eloise Crawford Fairburn. Father of: Keith A. Fairburn (Janet); Karen Taylor; and Kim Steed (Wayne) Son of the late Homer A. Fairburn and Leah Berthelot Fairburn Brother of the late Curtis B. Fairburn. Sister-in-law, Donna C. Karchner, (Dick) Adopted Family: Anto, Janja, Antonija, Antoni Cutura. Also survived by 4 grandchildren: Meredith Tittsworth; Matthew Steed; Allison Steed; David Steed; 3 great grandchildren: Peyton Tittsworth; BradyTittsworth; Ellis Tittsworth; 1 nephew: Bruce Fairburn; nieces: Gina Troyer; Cynthia Mroueh; Stephanie Dunlap and their families. Mr. Glynn was 88 years old and a native of Livingston, LA. He will always be known as Slidell High School Science teacher, school photographer and the sponsor for Sr. trip to Washington DC and the first principal of Slidell Jr. High School. He served in the USMC in WWII Pacific Theater in battle of Okinawa and first invasion wave of the occupation of Japan. Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
