Dorothy Ruth Swift , 68 of Mandeville, LA died on Saturday, May 10, 2014, while 
at the Airport in Atlanta, GA. 
Born, Thursday, July 26, 1945 in Durham, NC to Leon Smith and Naomi Smith. 
Raised in Norfolk, VA with her sister Marvis Francis.

Beloved wife of Robert B. Swift for 47 years, and loving Mother of Richard & 
Jonathan. Grandmother to Jordyn, Ava and Dylan.

Dorothy was a dedicated educator and taught in 7 different states throughout her 
carrier. She retired from Covington HS as their Physics teacher. Teaching was 
her passion.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM on 
Monday, May 19, 2014 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue 
Covington, LA 70433.

Visitation on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 10:00 AM to service time.

Following the service, all are invited to attend a ÒCelebration of LifeÓ at the 
Beau Chene CC.

Fund (Trust)
