PATRICIA CORDES CALKINS THOMAS, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 1, 
2014 at the age of 88.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Bernard Thomas Jr, by her second 
marriage and the late Harold Legendre Calkins Sr by her first marriage. Beloved 
mother of Charles Richard Thomas, Harold Legendre Calkins Jr., Robert Bernard 
Thomas III, and Kevin Patrick Thomas. She has one granddaughter and one great-
grandson. 
She was the daughter of the late Albert Bernard Cordes Sr and the late Marion 
Stewart Cordes. She is the sister of Adrian Benedict Cordes and the late Albert 
Bernard Cordes Jr., and Mary Agnes Prude.

Patricia was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a graduate of McMain High 
School in 1942. 
She retired from National Finance Center in New Orleans East. She was a resident 
of Chalmette, Louisiana, for 40 years before moving to Picayune, Mississippi 
after Hurricane Katrina.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
