Anita H. Torres passed away peacefully on May 3, 2014 at the age of 73. 

Beloved wife of Robert L. ÒBobÓ Torres. Mother of Brad Bell (Teresa). Stepmother 
of Debbie Kerr (Dave), Robert Torres, Jr. (Patty) and Susie Torres. Daughter of 
the late Houston Hester and Opal Gomillion. 

Born June 21, 1940 in Greenville, Alabama. 

Survived by grandchildren Bradley Bell, Candice Munoz, and Andrew Kerr, two 
great grandchildren, Claire Munoz and Benjamin Bell and many nieces and nephews. 
Also survived by her faithful dog, ÒChittÓ. Sister of Leo Hester, Carolyn 
Gomillion, Jimmy Gomillion, and the late Donald Hester and Abbot Hester. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Service of Christian Burial at 
12:00 on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Boulevard 
West, Slidell, LA. Visitation will begin at 8:30. 

Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to lung cancer 
research at Mayo Clinic. Your gift can be mailed directly to Mayo Clinic, 
Department of Development, 200 First Street SW, Rochester, MN 55905.
