Joy ÒBellaÓ Marie Breaux Almerico, 68 of Mandeville, loving mother, 
grandmother, friend and inspiration to many; passed away peacefully on Sunday, 
June 15, 2014, at home in the presence of her family. 
Born, Tuesday, August 14, 1945 in New Orleans to the late Wesley and Mabel 
Breaux.

Joy was infinitely passionate about health and fitness of the body and mind. 
She continually strived to better herself and inspired those around her to do 
the same. She was able to share her passions as the owner of Heartsong Pilates 
& Yoga Studio and Essentials Beauty Salon. Her many talents included painting, 
illustrating, ballroom dancing and cooking.

She is survived by her loving sons Ryan Almerico and wife, Rissi Lovern, Dr. 
Ben Almerico and wife, Melissa, Sam Almerico and wife, Jennie, and Max Almerico 
and wife, Coletta; brothers Gary Breaux and wife, Phyllis and Phil Breaux; 
seven grandchildren Samuel, Ava Grace, Ava Isabella, Rex, Connor, Noni and 
Gabriella.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at First Baptist 
Church of Covington, 16333 Highway 1085, Covington, LA 70433. Visitation and a 
service will be at the church, on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Visitation from 
10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Service will begin immediately following visitation. 

Interment at Theodore Dendinger Cemetery in Madisonville.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the excellent care provided by 
the professional staff at St. Tammany Parish Hospital Physicians and Hospice.
