Joanne Dufrene Christian passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the age of 
79. 

Beloved wife of 58 years to James Aubrey Christian.
Loving mother of Jim Christian (wife Pamela Miller Christian) and Ann 
Christian. Daughter of the late Paul R. Dufrene, Sr. and Lucille Blouin 
Dufrene. Sister of Peggy D. Gautreaux, Lorraine D. Terrebonne, Paul R. Dufrene, 
Jr., and the late Nell D. Zeringue. Grandmother of Bennett Christian and Olivia 
Christian.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on 
Monday, June 23, 2014 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 723 N. 
Bayou Dr., Golden Meadow, LA 70357 at 11:00 AM with visitation at church Monday 
from 9:00 AM until Mass time. 

Interment will follow in Our of Prompt Succor Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Christian 
to be made to St. Jude ChildrenŐs Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN
