COX, ETHEL MARGARET CROSBY 
July 29, 1922 - June 1, 2014

Ethel Margaret Crosby Cox passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 in Covington, LA 
at the age of 91. 
She was born on July 29, 1922 in Picayune, MS to the late Robert Howell and 
Virgie May Crosby.

In 1950, Margaret married her beloved Donald A. Cox and together they had four 
children, Donald A. Cox, Jr. (Carol), Celeste Stanley (the late Don), Donna M. 
Rusch (David), and Carol A. Cox. She will be dearly missed by her six precious 
grandchildren, Chip, Carolyn, Robert, Maggie, Virginia, and Matthew; and seven 
great grandchildren. 

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Robert, Richard 
and Thomas Crosby and one sister, Mary McDuff.

Margaret was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great 
grandmother. She was actively involved in her childrenŐs lives as a Den mother, 
Girl Scout advisor and member of the St. MartinŐs MothersŐ Club and New Orleans 
Academy MothersŐ Club. Her family will specially remember her anonymous 
generosity to numerous charities and individuals.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service 
on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, 
Covington, LA 70433 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00 AM until service 
time. 

Interment will follow services in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Margaret Cox 
be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Pkwy, Ste 1, 
Marietta, GA
