DELAUGHTER, SHIRLEY MARIE LACOSTE 

Shirley Marie LaCoste Delaughter born March 24, 1929, passed away on June 6 
2014 at the age of 85. 

Mrs. Shirley was a resident of Lacombe Nursing Centre, as well as Pearl River, 
LA and a devoted member of Pearl River United Methodist Church. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Earl Joseph LaCoste Sr. and Macie Moore 
LaCoste, her husband Kent Delaughter, brothers Earl Joseph LaCoste Jr. and 
Barry LaCoste. 

She is survived by her children Craig R. Delaughter of Hemet, Ca, daughter Gail 
M. Delaughter of Houston, Tx., sister Edrel L. Pichon of Slidell, LA, sister in 
law Elaine LaCoste of Hammond, LA, Shirley B. LaCoste of Pearl River, LA 
grandchildren Michelle Peay, Cari DiMarco, and Andrea Delaughter, great 
grandchildren Brandy, Dylan, Christopher, Zachary, Riley, Katherine, Anna, 
Jackson, and Rebecca, and a host of nieces and nephews as well as many friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday June 10, 2014 at 11 am at the Pearl 
River United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 9 am until service time 
at 11.

Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, LA.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the entire staff and 
employees of Lacombe Nursing Centre for their excellent care of Mrs. Shirley in 
her time of need.
