Leon Fussell, 74, of Bush, Louisiana, passed away on June 20, 2014, due to 
congestive heart failure.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th from 6:00pm Ð 9:00pm at 
Hebron Baptist Church in Bush, Louisiana.  

He will be buried at the Fussell Family Cemetary in Blond. 

Leon was born in Blond, Louisiana on March 24, 1940. He graduated from 
Covington High School.  

He was married to Katryna Wilson Fussell..

Leon worked as an employee for Strainco for many years.  Prior to that, he was 
a professional Owner-operator truck driver.

Leon is survived by his wife, Katryna Wilson Fussell, his daughter, Angel 
Galloway (Joe Galloway) of Abita Springs, LA; his daughter, Debbie Breland (Ray 
Breland) of Covington, LA; his daughter, Dawn Thompson (Daryl Thompson) of 
Bernie, TX; his son, Ridge Fussell (Beth Fussell) of Newnan, GA; his 
stepdaughter, Kabryna Longman (Jason Longman) of Bush, LA; and his 
stepdaughter, Sabryna Greene also of Bush, LA; as well as 18 grandchildren; 8 
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Leon is preceded in death by his father, Bo Fussell; his mother, Armydean 
Fussell; his sister, Betty Sharp; and his brother, Vernel Fussell.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The American Heart 
Association.
