Thomas Alton ÒAppleÓ Galloway passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in Hammond, 
LA at the age of 81. 
He was born on February 5, 1933 in Covington, LA to the late Thomas Clifton and 
Flossie Prince Galloway.

Al was the father of Julie G. Notariano, the late Laurie Jane Galloway and 
Laurie Jean Parr. He was the grandfather of Taylor and Matthew Parr. Al was the 
great grandfather of Sierra N. Notariano. 
He is predeceased by his grandson Charles A. Notariano. Al was the brother of 
Allen C. Galloway and his wife, the late Tressie D. H. Galloway, and Cloyis G. 
Jones and her husband, the late Edwin A. Jones, Jr. 
He is survived by numerous family members. 
Al will be dearly missed by his loyal dog, Poncho.

Al served in the Army during the Korean War. 
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and football.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service 
on Friday, June 13, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, 
Covington, LA 70433 at 12:00 Noon with visitation from 10:00 AM until service 
time. 

Interment will follow services in Garden of the Pines Cemetery, Covington, LA.
