Charles ÒMikeÓ McGovern, III, age 66 years, of Lacombe, LA on Thursday, June 
12, 2014

Beloved father of Stacy M. Cointment( Clint) and Patty M. Traylor(Shane).
Son of Dolly St. Amant McGovern and the late Charles M. McGovern,II.
Brother of Betsy Ann McGovern. Grandfather of Trevin, Shelby Traylor and Kamren 
Rodriguez.

Also survived by several other relatives, Angele Smith, Megan and Frank Pitts, 
Amy and Eric Thomas, Kaitlyn Bordelon, Jourdan Thomas, Steven L. Colombel and 
dear friends, Terry Galloway, Michael Burke, Mark Arnett, Pat Burke, Mickey 
Carroll, Pat Dempsy, Emile Meilleur, Tom Miller,Terry Sauls and his other 
fellow comardes at the VFW Post.

A native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Lacombe. He served in the 
U.S. Army in Vietnam, where he was awarded a Bronze Star.
He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 8290.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Services at the V.F.W. Post 8290, 28000 Main St., Lacombe, La.
on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 10:00 A.M.

Interment to follow in Crow Cemetery, Lacombe, La..

Visitation at the V.F.W. Post on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and 
on Tuesday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.
