Kenneth Marshall Milstead passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the age of 78.

Beloved husband of 57 years to Fern Milstead. Loving father of Stacy Milstead. 
Also survived by his nephew Larry Milstead. 

Son of the late Ollie Culp Milstead and Scott Windsor Milstead. Brother of the 
late Scott Milstead and Carolyn Headley.

He was a native of Alabama and a resident of Mandeville where he was a member 
of First Baptist Church of Mandeville. 
Mr. Milstead was a Military Policeman for the United States Army followed by a 
career as a claims superintendent for State Farm Insurance Company and retired 
after 38 years of service. 
His retirement was spent volunteering and teaching boat building at the Lake 
Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, 
Covington, LA 70433 at 1:00 PM with visitation on Wednesday from 11:30 AM until 
service time.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mr. Milstead 
to be made to the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum, 133 Mabel Dr., 
Madisonville, LA 70447.
