Joseph H. Quinn Jr., 92, a life time resident of Metairie, LA, passed away June 
7, 2014.

Mr. Quinn was born December 30, 1921, in New Orleans, to Joseph H. and Lourine 
J. (Sporer) Quinn. He married Janice M. Porter on October 24, 1942.

Mr. Quinn was studying carpentry at Delgado when WWII began. He left school to 
work for Higgins Industries as a carpenter building landing craft and other 
boats for the war. Upon leaving Higgins he opened his own cabinet shop and 
worked as a master carpenter for over 50 years. In retirement, he continued to 
enjoy woodworking and painting.

Mr. Quinn was a long time member of the Good Ole Boys of Metairie.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews, their children and many friends. 
Mr. Quinn was preceded in death by his wife, Janice and his brother, Albert.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 11:00A.M. until funeral time.
