Robert Michael Whittal a.k.a. ÒHoneybunÓ passed from this life at his Covington 
residence on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at the age of 45 years. 

A native of South Africa, Robert came to Louisiana 14 years ago to dive in the 
Gulf of Mexico. Survived by his wife, Angela Whittal and two children, Kayleigh 
Stark and Joshua Istre. Loving son of Annatjie Whittal and the late Kenneth 
Whittal. Brother of Desmond Whittal and wife Antoinette and Charmaine Pereira 
and husband Jose. Uncle to Lyndsay Pereira, Kylie Pereira, Donovan Whittal, and 
Kenneth Whittal.

Relative and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral service; 
Friday, June 20, 2014, at Serenity Funeral Home at 6pm. Visitation will begin 
at 4:30 pm and continue until service begins.
