Harry was the beloved husband of Helga Allison for more than 54 years. He is survived by Helga, his sister Gloria T. Wenzel, his children: Thomas, Eneida and Harry, and five grandchildren: Thomas, Michael, Allison, Sara and Vera. Harry served the United States as a United States Marine from 1954 to 1963. From 1967 until 1994, Harry served in important positions with the United States Customs Service including Director of the Customs Training Academy and Deputy Assistant Regional Commissioner for Enforcement. Harry was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus and a recipient of the Medal of St Louis for his service in the Church. A funeral mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell on July 31, 2014 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held starting at 9:00am.
