Darrel E. Brown passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 in Madisonville, LA. He 
was born on October 2, 1991 in New Orleans, LA to Bridget Bush and Alvin Brown.

Darrel will be dearly missed by his brother, Barry Ross, Jr. He is also 
survived by his grandparents, Superintendent Herbert and Missionary June 
Coleman, his paternal grandmother, Louise Thompson, his uncle, Gerald Colin and 
his wife Glenda, and his aunt, Yolanda Coleman. 

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Byron Thompson.

Darrel began playing football with Abita Recreation and continued at 
Fountainebleu High School. Darrel earned a full scholarship to Nicholls State 
University in Thibodeaux, LA where he was the Captain of the Defense for the 
Colonels. Darrel graduated in 2013 with a BS in Business. After college, Darrel 
began his career in sales with AFLAC Insurance.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service 
on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Lakeshore Church, 15261 E Brewster Rd, 
Covington, LA 70433, at 1:00 PM with Visitation from 10:00 AM until service 
time. 

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Memorial Fund at Citizens 
Bank in Abita Springs, LA.
