EDWIN POLK, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014.

Beloved husband of Nancy Carr Polk.
Father of son, Richard Lee Polk and wife, Hope; step-son Brad Carr and wife, 
Tracy; and the late Eddie Polk.
Son of the late Dewey Lee Polk and Maude Parkman Polk.
Brother of: Betty Enclade; James Polk; Dianne Young;the late: Marie Erhard; 
Bobbie Jean Killen; John Polk; and Dixie Turrittin.
Also survived by 3 grandchildren: Mark Polk; Nicole Stephens; Catherine Polk; 2 
step grandchildren: Devon Carr; Kayla Carr.

Mr. Edwin was 77 years old and a native of Gulfport, MS.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at First Baptist Church, 4141 Pontchartrain Drive, Slidell, LA on Saturday, 
July 5, 2014 at 12:00 P.M.
Rev. Jim Baham officiating.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation at First Baptist Church, Saturday, July 5, 2014, from 10:00 A.M. 
until funeral time.
