Larry J. Bourg, Sr. entered into eternal life on Saturday, August 23, 2014 
surrounded by his wife and children.  
He was 79 years old.  

He was the beloved husband of Shirley Domangue Bourg for 59 years. Father of 
Larry J. Bourg, Jr.(Evelyn), Liz Rush (Andrew). Grandfather of Keith Rush, Jr. 
(Jami), Kevin Rush, Eric and Dennis Bourg. Great grandfather of Riley Bourg, 
and Adeline Elizabeth Rush. Son of the late Walter Bourg Sr. and Lizzie 
Clement. Brother of Erna Bailey (Floyd), and Lois Brouillette (Marvin). 

Preceded in death by brothers Walter, Richard, Ronald, and Albert and sisters 
Betty Boudreaux, Marguerite Lomonaco, and Joyce Ourso. Brother in law of Don 
(Marion), Charles (Margaret), Kenny (Barbara), and the late Mike and Dennis 
Domangue, Jr.  Survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  

A kind and gentle man who was deeply loved by all who knew him.  Larry was a 
professional diver in the oilfield industry.  He worked in the gulf and around 
the world. His jokes were legend.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 20370 
Smith Road, Covington, LA (corner of Hwy. 1081) on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 
11:00 am.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.  A reception will follow the 
service.  

Burial will be private.  

In lieu of flowers masses preferred.
