BARBARA LEBLANC SAMROW, age 61 years, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, 
August 2, 2014, at Slidell Memorial Hospital due to complications from cancer.

She was a dedicated employee of H&R Block for 20 years.
She was born in New Orleans on January 1st, 1953 to the late Stanley E. & 
Jeannette L. LeBlanc and was a former resident of New Orleans East for 32 
years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, I.George Samrow, her three 
children, Charles R. Samrow, Edward T. Samrow, Pamela S. Barrilleaux, two 
granddaughters, Elizabeth J. and Erica J. Barrilleaux, her siblings, Linda L. 
Waguespack(Leonce), Elaine L. Wagener, Stanley E. LeBlanc, Jr.(Patricia), Mary 
L. Boneno(Frank), James E. LeBlanc(Linda) and Fay L. Newfield(Theodore); her 
father-in-law, Joseph E. Samrow, in-laws; Joseph E. Samrow, Jr.(Geraldine), 
Kathleen S. Deroche(Nolan), Marie S. Fuselier(Robert) and Gregory T. 
Samrow(Patricia).

Preceded in death by her sister, Jeannette L. Hagardorn(George), her brother-
in-law, Roy P. Wagener and her mother-in-law, Thekla M. Samrow.


Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Mass at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA
on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd., West, Slidell, on Tuesday 
evening from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and at the church on Wednesday after 9:00 
A.M. until funeral time.
