Raymond William Treadaway, age 86, of Slidell, La., passed away on Thursday, 
August 21, 2014.

Mr. Treadaway was born February 17, 1928 in New Orleans, La., to the late Edwin 
And Isabel Clew Treadaway.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Yvonne B. Treadaway.

Raymond loved life and his family. To many he was known as Bill, to
some, Wild Bill and in his later days, Sweet William.
Bill had a passion for fishing, cruising the high seas, movies, reading, 
motorcycling and woodworking.

At a young age Bill joined the Merchant Marines and spent a year in the 
Philippines and went on to join the Marines. After returning to civilian life, 
Bill settled down and started a family.
Bill loved his family, Louisiana and his Country.

Survivors include, a daughter and son-in-law Rick and Tina Tague of 
Murfreesboro Tn, a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Mayu Treadaway of Abita 
Springs, La., a brother, Gayle Treadaway of Madison, Ws., and grandchildren, 
Lyuke Treadaway and Lania Treadaway.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Monday , August 25, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 11:00A.M. until funeral time.
