MARIE GIORDANO ARRUEBARRENA, age 89 years, of Slidell, LA, passed away on 
Sunday, September 14, 2014.

Beloved Wife of John Arthur Arruebarrena,Sr., for the past 66 years.
Mother of Ann, Johnny Jr. and Christine.
Daughter of the late Ben Giordano and Mary Amato Giordano.
Sister of Charles Giordano, sister, best friend and Òthe other pea in her podÓ, 
Rosalie Wolcott, the late Benny Giordano, ÒBig SammyÓ Giordano, ÒBabeÓ Buckley, 
ÒLittle SammyÓ Buzzetta, Nunzio, James and Mildred Giordano.

ÒGeGeÓ is survived by 5 grandchildren, Joshua, Jesse, Zachary, Heather, and 
Lindsey, 5 great grandchildren, Kai, Mia, Liam, Jack and Caroline and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

A native of Slidell and resident of Slidell and New Orleans.

She will always be remembered for her beauty, smile, spirit, incredible cooking 
and will be missed more than any words could ever express!

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Mass at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA ,on Thursday, September 18, 2014
at 1:00 P.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Thursday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Donations to St. AnthonyÕs Poorbox ,preferred, in lieu of flowers.
