Charles Leroy McGinty, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the age 
of 67.

He was the son of Elinor Baker McGinty and the late L.V. McGinty, Sr., of 
Slidell.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, ReneeĠ Clark McGinty; three sons, Kyle, 
Craig(Felicia), and Chuck(Carrie); two grandchildren; and two brothers, L.V. 
McGinty, Jr. (Barbara) and Don McGinty (Sally).

Charles spent 33 1/2 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation before 
retiring in 2004.
He was a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and the University of 
Georgia.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of 
his life at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd., West, Slidell, on Monday, 
September 22, 2014, at 5:30 p.m.
Visitation on Monday after 3:30 p.m.

There will be a private family burial.

Donations to First United Methodist Church of Slidell, preferred, in lieu of 
flowers.
