PENTON, JOHN, JR 

On Friday September 26, 2014 John Penton Jr. age 77 of Pearl River, LA passed 
away. 

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Evelyn Penton, his children, John J. 
Penton III, Pamela Diane Harper, Willard Wyatt Penton, Ervin Dwayne Penton, and 
Edwin Dwight Penton, his brother Charles Penton, sisters Betty Learch and Vera 
Necaise, 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. 

Mr. Penton is preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Penton, daughter 
Cathy Elizabeth Penton, sister Ida Provost, and brothers William, Marvin, and 
Herman Penton.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 12:00 PM from 
the chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home 67525 Hwy 41 Pearl River, LA 70452.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 
service time.

Interment to follow at Crawford Cemetery in Pearl River, LA.

Brother Alvin Waller to be officiating.
