Devoted husband of Judyth G. Reznik for 57+ years. Beloved father of Jerilyn & Thomas Deane, Venice, Italy, Mitchell & Wassana Reznik, Bangkok, Thailand, Heidi & Troy Teadt, Slidell, LA, Dana Campbell, Mesa AZ. Awsome Poppie to Marc & Kristen Deane, Samantha Deane, Jessica & April Bailey, Mathew & Staci Teadt, Paige & Ian Overcash, Kymberli & Manny Browkowski, Alton, Michaela & Emilee Campbell. Lovable Poppie to great grandchildren Ryleigh & Easton Deane, Tatum, Talon & Teagen Bronner, Collins Teadt, Baby Overcash. Loving Brother Sheldon Reznik & Wife Carol. Many loving Nieces & Nephews & wonderful friends. ŇAlÓ was born in Chicago, IL on October 9, 1936 to Eleanor & Meyer Reznik. He graduated from the University of Michigan's School of Journalism in Jan. 1959. He worked at several newspapers during his career including the South Haven, MI News, Lerner Newspapers in the Chicago & surrounding areas, Rafilson Public Relations, Chicago, Glendale News Papers in Phx, AZ & surrounding areas, Director of Radio News for WGN Radio & TV stations. He also put in time with UPI in IL. He was treasurer of Illinois News Papers Association, President of Lions Club & PTO of high school in IL. ŇALÓ loved coaching his Pop Warner football, soccer & Church/Temple basketball teams. His passion was football & because of moves he his clothes with emblems of Chicago Cubs & Bears, Phx Cardinals & Diamondbacks & of course Geaux Saints. And not to forget UM, Go Blue . Our boisterous & busy ŇALÓ was on the board of Temple Israel in Phx & Scottdale AZ & served on several diverse committees w/i the Temple. They also voted ŇHe was also voted Board Member there '1999-2000Ó At in Sun City AZ Synagogue he wrote newspaper releases serving as PR spokesman. He also did PR work for Northshore Jewish Synagogue. He will be missed by so many people, but we know the angels will take care of him for us The family would like to give special thanks to Jill Snyder, Patti Knoblach & Elizabeth Killeen from R & R Home Care. They were wonderful. Also to the complete nursing staff on all shifts of the cardiac A & B at Slidell Memorial Hospital. Kudos to you all. Funeral services will be held at North Shore Jewish Congregation, 1403 N. Causeway Blvd. Mandeville, on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Louisiana in honor of Alvin or to the charity of your choice. ===================
