Melissa Trautman, 55, of Mandeville, LA, went home to be with our Lord on 
September 23, 2014. 

Missy was born in Franklin, LA to George J. Trautman and Beverly Henning 
Trautman.

Missy was born with Cerebral Palsy and had a difficult life- many, many 
surgeries and many illnesses- but, she was a fighter. She always bounced back 
with a smile on her face and never a complaint even when confined to her 
wheelchair. In 2010, she had to fight breast cancer and, again, she won. Her 
heart has finally had enough of fighting and Missy is walking in Heaven with 
her Loved Ones.

Survivors include her mother Beverly Rush and her step-father, whom she adored, 
Charles Rush. She was the step-sister to Julie Rush, Randy Rush, and Keith 
Rush. She will be missed by her father, George Trautman and his wife, Billye, 
of Houston, TX, her step-sister Kimberly and step-brother, Mike. 

She leaves behind one son, Myrel Barron and two grandchildren. She had numerous 
aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as many friends but none closer than her 
Aunt Gwen. They had a special bond.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service 
on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st 
Ave., Covington, LA 70433, at 3:00 PM with Visitation from 1:00 PM until 
service time. 

Interment will be held on Monday, September 29, 2014 in Greenlawn Memorial Park 
Cemetery, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, TX 77619.
