Gabe was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and later moved with his parents to New York and then to New Orleans. Ultimately, he considered the North Shore his home. Gabe’s many loves included the New York Yankees and Derek Jeter, the New Orleans’ Saints, LSU Tigers, Arkansas Razorbacks and all-things Mardi Gras. He was passionate about fishing with his father in upstate New York, theater at St. Paul’s, his dogs, Chinese take-out, Chipotle, and his loving family. Gabe was also very proud to be an American and a Louisiana resident. He was a member of the 100th graduating class of St. Paul’s in 2011 where he was proud to be part of the Marian Players, under the direction of Ms Denny Charbonnet. After graduation, Gabe excelled in New York as a paralegal in his father’s law practice. However, Gabe recently found his true passion in floral design while employed at Florist of Covington. There he will be remembered and loved for his beautiful smile and sense of humor. Gabe is survived by his parents Stan Weber and Lee and Malcolm Andry and his grandmother, J. Gail (Momo) Griffey. Other survivors include his siblings, Steven Weber (Misty), Juliette Andry, Malcolm Andry III and Matthew Andry. Survivors also include his uncle Brian Griffey and his aunts, Marla Griffey and Paula Carrere (David). His many cousins include Lauren and Andrew Carrere, Armando, Isabella and Mia Alvarez. He is also survived by his nephew, Chase Weber and niece, Reagan Weber. Gabe’s much-loved grandfather, James Alvin (Popo) Griffey, preceded him in death. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Paul’s Chapel, 917 S. Jahncke Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 12:00 noon with visitation at St. Paul’s Chapel on Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Gabe to be made to The Covington Food Bank or the St. Tammany Humane Society. ===================
