He was born on February 15, 1939 in New Orleans, LA to the late L. Arthur Bachemin and Henrietta Louise Bauder. Audie was married to his beloved wife, Sybil Darlene Faust Bachemin for 54 years and together they had four children, Shelly Elaine Bachemin, Stephanie Ann Bachemin, the late Arthur Edward Bachemin and Louis Arthur Bachemin, III. He was the loving grandfather of Erin Darlene Caruso and Abbey Elaine Caruso. The family wishes to extend special thanks to St. Tammany Parish Hospice for their gentle care and concern. Audie was a 32° Mason with the A&A Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. He served as a member of the Andrew Jackson Lodge #428, the St. Bernard Sportsmans League, the Coastal Conservation Association, and Huerstel’s Social Club. Audie was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Chalmette, LA and St. Matthew the Apostle in Perkinston, MS. Audie was an avid sportsman and would often finish a morning of duck hunting with an evening of fishing in the Biloxi Marsh in St. Bernard Parish. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, October 20, 2014 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433, at 12:00 Noon with Visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Rd., Slidell, LA ===================
