Lucien J. Joly passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the age of 89.

Beloved husband of Margaret Jones Joly. Loving father of Jeanette Essick 
(Rocky), Rodney Joly (Michelle), Jacqueline Schwander (Donald) and the late 
Robert Joly and Robbie Schmolke. Also survived by seven grandchildren and five 
great-grandchildren.

Mr. Joly was a native of New Orleans, where he was the President and owner of 
Joly‘s Metal Works, Inc. He lived in Diamondhead, MS for 25 years where he was 
a member of Holy Trinity Church Men’s Club, VFW Post 2880, American Legion Post 
139 and the Diamondhead Men’s Golf Club. For the past three years he resided at 
Christwood Retirement Community in Covington, LA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Mary Queen of 
Peace Catholic Church, 1501 W. Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471 on 
Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 12:00 noon with visitation at church on Saturday 
beginning at 10:00 AM.

There will be a celebration of his life immediately following at Christwood 
Retirement Community.
