Nancy was 67 years old and a resident of Mandeville, Louisiana since 1979. She was the wife of Richard L. Lambert and the mother of Darci Michelle Lambert. She was also the beloved aunt of an extended family of nieces and nephews living in Troy, Ohio and Rushsylvania, Ohio. Nancy was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on Wednesday, February 26, 1947 and graduated from Buckeye Local High School. She then attended Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee and Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She was married in Rushsylvania, Ohio on December 19, 1970 to Richard L. Lambert. They resided in Columbus, Ohio; Landover, Maryland; and Kenner, Louisiana before moving to Mandeville. While residing in Mandeville, Nancy was employed at a number of concerns. Most recently she was employed by Southeast Louisiana Hospital where she was the Administrative Assistant to the Chairman of the Social Services Department. She was an employed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival by Galley Seafood Restaurant for 25 seasons, where her warm smile and welcoming manners made many friends among locals and visitors to the fair. Nancy was preceded in death by her father William Thomas Yarbrough, her mother Mozzelle Amerine Yarbrough, her sister Carol Yarbrough Ferguson, and her brother William (Yogi) Yarbrough. Nancy wished to thank the staff of Attentive Hospice and Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center for their many kindnesses and efforts to comfort her throughout her last illness. A memorial service will be held for her at Grace Disciples of Christ Church, 975 Highway 190 East Service Rd, Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 12:00 PM. All who knew Nancy are invited to attend. ===================
