Elinor B. “Nootsie” McGinty, age 99 years, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.

Beloved Wife of the late L.V. McGinty, Sr.
Mother of L.V. McGinty, Jr.(Barbara), James Donald McGinty(Sally) and the late Charles L. McGinty(Renee).
Sister of the late Willis A. Baker, Sr.; Rena B. Bowden and Lewis A. Baker.
Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A native and lifelong resident of Slidell. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church of Slidell, LA and the oldest graduate of Slidell High School at the time of her death.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Saturday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

In Lieu of flower donations to First United Methodist Church of Slidell,La.
