Believing 'If God is for us, who can be against us?' was repeated many times in her ninety years - one filled with faith and thanksgiving for blessings granted and requested with love, compassion, joy, and laughter. Born in New Orleans the loving daughter of the late Juanita Benneto and Herman Duplessis; beloved wife of the late Sam A. Bella, Sr. and the late Victor Moley, she is also preceded in death by her sister - Aline Brevelle; cherished mother of Sam A. Bella, Jr. (Rosalie), Susan Barbé (Victor), and Stanley Moley; adored grandmother of Faith Marie Cutrera (Nick), Jacques Barbé, Renee' Farhat (Jay), Toi Rose and Felecia Carper; proud great grandmother of - Sarah and Luke Cutrera, Justin and Colin Farhat, and Kaitlynn and Rylee Barbé; wonderful aunt of Priscilla Heaphy (Alden) and great aunt Te Te to Alden (Lori) and Drew (Betsy) Heaphy, and their children Alden, Britain, Kaitlin and Kassidy Heaphy. A resident of St. Bernard Parish for over seventy years, she brought happiness to those who knew her as a homemaker, caregiver, school crossing guard, employee of K&B Drug Store and manager of a local store; charter member of Chalmette High School Booster Club, and talented performer with local singing groups. Juanita took an active, loving role in her children's lives and their friends from elementary school thru college years - her home was the gathering place for good times, wonderful food, and great adventures. As for many people, Hurricane Katrina changed many lives as it did hers. From Arabi, she moved to Jacksonville, FL to be near her daughter and within the last six months she returned to Louisiana to be near her sons. Her strong faith, love of God, devotion to the Blessed Mother, prayers and rosary were always present especially as her journey here was coming to an end. She will be missed by her loved ones, friends, and people who knew her left to treasure her memory, love, and hope. Her family would like to gratefully thank Forest Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center's administrative staff, nurses and caregivers, St. Tammany Paris Hospital, Dr. David D. Tran, Fr. Gary Copping and Reggie Fielding for their outstanding care and concern given to her and her family. Private services were held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Fr. Gary Copping celebrated the funeral mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington, LA followed by interment at St. Louis #3 in New Orleans. Pallbearers included: Jacques Barbe`, Nick Cutrera, Jay Farhat, Alden Heaphy, Drew Heaphy and Dudley Williams. Masses in her memory are preferred to a church of choice or to: St. Anselm Catholic Church, 505 Pine St., Madisonville, LA 70447. ===================
