Snow passed away peacefully, at his home in Covington, LA, surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the age of 71. Odis was born on Saturday, May 22, 1943 in Memphis, TN to the late Fannie Mae Luellyen and Fletcher “Jack” Snow and resided in San Diego, CA for many years. Odis graduated from Jeter High School in Memphis, TN. He Joined the United States Navy in 1961 where he met his wife, Dorothy, of over 52 years, in Lemoore, CA. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a jet mechanic in 1981 after serving on the U.S.S. Midway. He then embarked on a pursuit of knowledge that earned him a degree in Criminal Justice and Federal Certification in Polymer Composite Fabrication for Jet Aircrafts. He retired from Federal Civil Service in 2003 after 20 years as a Jet Aircraft Fabricator at North Island Naval Air Station in San Diego, CA. Odis was preceded in death by his daughter, Olivia Snow. Odis is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Jean Ware Snow; his daughter Jacquelyn Ann Snow- Jones; his grandchildren, Nicollette A. Jones and Kenneth L. Jones, II.; and his sisters, Rosetta Jones, Henerene Golden, and Margaret Ann Wheeler. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Friday, October 24, 2014 beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow with Military Honors in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Road, Slidell, LA 70460 at 12:00 pm. United States Navy ===================
