ROSALEE CALVERT BOTSFORD, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 
2014.

Mrs. Botsford was born September 1, 1930 in Black Oak, Arkansas, the child of 
Ruth and Grover Calvert. She later relocated to Denver where she met and 
married George James Botsford. 
She was a devout Catholic and and a dedicated homemaker. She had been employed 
by Blue Cross/Blue Shield and American Greeting Cards, and was past President 
of the Lady’s Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband George J. Botsford and her two sons, 
George J. Botsford Jr. and Timothy Botsford.

She leaves behind two sons, Thomas Botsford of Slidell, John Botsford and wife 
Heather Botsford of Covington. Also left behind are her three daughters 
Stephanie Botsford and husband Jon Christensen, Pamela Luna and her husband 
Noel, Mary Cramer and significant other Dean Curl of Slidell.
She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Cole 
Parris, Ruby Parris, Zaccarian Luna, Joshua Luna, Samantha Rester, Nicholas 
Botsford, Emily Botsford, Joel Hocker, Skylar Kirsten, Archer Luna, Ainsley 
Luna, Deric Luna and Lucas Luna.

Memorial services were held Saturday, November 8, 2014, at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church. 

Memorial Gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
