Madeline Cox Buras passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at the age of 
95.

Beloved wife of 51 years to the late Harold Andre Buras. Loving mother of 
Pamela Buras Erler and Suzanne Andrea Buras. 
Daughter of the late Madeline Wade Cox and Carl S. Cox. 
Sister of the late Carl S. Cox, Jr. Aunt of Carla Cox Knight, Robert Buras, 
Angela Vodopija, Alvin Buras, Mary Sue Hereford and Michael Buras.

Mrs. Buras was a native of Lakeland, FL and a resident of Covington since 1968. 
She was a strong woman of faith and was instrumental in the founding of two 
churches including Dove Park Church where she was the organist for over thirty 
years. She was known for her hospitality and kindness to those in need, and she 
will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. 
Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, 
November 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
