Joseph was born on Monday, October 22, 1945 in Folsom, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, John David Dillon, Sr. and Tera Eunice Dillon; and his brother, John David Dillon, Jr. He is survived by his children, Joseph Wayne, Laurie Ann and her husband Bobby Rowe, Shawn Joseph and his wife Nicole, Matthew John, Betsy Kay and her husband Bryian Loper, Tera Lee and her husband Andy McGovern; sisters, Janell Martin, Geneva Toups, Janice Dillon and Eddie Dillon. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, nieces and nephews. Joseph was a painter, by trade, for over 40 years. He coached his children in basketball and baseball. He was very close to and loved his grandchildren very much. He loved playing poker, going to the casinos and especially the horse races. He was a member of the pool league at Veer Off Veer Off in 2011 and 2012. He was loved very much by his family and many friends. He will be sorely missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Visitation on Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Barker McManus Cemetery, Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dillon Family in care of Shawn Dillon. ===================
