DOOLIN, TIMOTHY SHAWN, SR 
August 5, 1963 - November 5, 2014

Timothy “Tim” Shawn Doolin passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the age 
of 51.

Father of Timothy Doolin, Jr. and Megan “Megg” Doolin, son of Patricia McNeely 
Doolin and Terry William Lee Doolin, and brother of Todd Shannon Doolin and 
Heather Doolin Whitehead. Also survived by grandmothers Berta Stark and Joan 
McNeely, aunts Susan McNeely Roddy and Mary Stark Jacobs, his children’s mother, 
Judy Teevan, and his nieces and nephews: Ryan Doolin, Connor Doolin, Caleb 
Whitehead, Avery Whitehead, and Abbi Grace Whitehead.

Tim was raised in Memphis, TN, graduating from the University of Memphis in 1986 
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business. In 1991, he moved to Mandeville, LA 
where he raised his two children and fell in love with Louisiana culture. 
Hunting, fishing, cooking, and golfing were just a few of his favorite outdoor 
activities. Tim radiated a very bright light. The poetry of his presence, 
infectious smile, and infinite love and generosity will forever rest in the 
hearts of his friends and family.

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at the River Oaks Clubhouse in 
Covington, LA on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 7:00-9:00pm.
Memorial services will be held in Memphis, TN at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 N. 
Germantown Rd, on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 11:00am with a 
gathering/visitation at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Doolin are 
made to the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA). 

Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 1:00pm.
