He was born September 28, 1937 in Grand Isle, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents: Louis Crince Guidry and Augusta Gisclaire Guidry, and his sister Audrey Mae Mader Friel. Ralph is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Patricia Oveson Guidry, son: Louis Crince and his wife Carolyn and their son Mitchell of Pineville, LA; son Michael James and his wife Kathryn and their daughters Leah and Rachel of Valparisio, FL, son Christopher Dean and his wife Susan and their children Taylor and Joseph “Rocco” of Bristow, VA; daughter Danielle Marie and her husband Vincent Fontenot and their children Caroline, Henry, and Ian of Slidell, LA, brother Wayne and his wife Marsha “Pepper” of Baton Rouge, LA, brother Charles “Chuck” and his wife Donna of Galliano, LA, many nieces, nephews who knew and loved him as their “Uncle Pat”, and many cousins. Ralph was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church and an avid golfer, duck hunter and fisherman. A true American patriot, Ralph proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. After his retirement, Ralph and his first mate, Patricia, traveled the waterways of the United States. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may visit at 10:30 am at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, on Friday, November 14, 2014. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 NOON. Burial, with military honors, will be held at 2:00pm, at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell. Family honored to serve as pallbearers are Louis Guidry, Michael Guidry, Christopher Guidry, Vincent Fontenot, Mitchell Guidry, Henry Fontenot, and Rocco Guidry. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Guidry, Charles “Chuck” Guidry, J. Wayne Lewis, Arnold Rice, Charles Wilson, Morris Meyers, and Bill Jobst. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations by made to the National Alzheimers Association, www.alz.org., and to the Good Samaritan Ministry at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church. ===================
