Beloved Husband of 52 years of Dianne Wilson Lipps. Father of Sherri L. Pizzolato(Raymond), Raymond G. Lipps,III(Susan), Brian R. Lipps(Gina), Michael D. Lipps and Scott W. Lipps(Rachel). Brother of Gloria Wale(late Joseph V.), Elsie Davis(Hank) and Hazel Estave(Robert). He was “Grumps” to his 7 grandchildren, Christopher Pizzolato, Shelby Pizzolato, Blayne Lipps, Blair Lipps, Savannah Lipps, Scott Lipps, Jr. and Samatha Lipps and a great granddaughter, Scarlett. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for over 30 years. He was retired from the Southern Pacific/Union Pacific Railroad after 43 years. He was a member of the Krewe of Bilge, The Poor Man’s Yacht Club, and the Northshore Beach Volunteer Fire Department. We will miss his adventurous stories as only he could tell them. He loved his lake, boat, truck, hunting, fishing and being with his family and friends. Ray will truly be missed by all who loved him dearly. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Saturday,November 29, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.
