He was born on October 4, 1949 in New Orleans to the late Albert Paul Autin, Sr. and Ruth Moll Autin. Al was married to his beloved wife, Phyllis Maxey Autin for 44 years and together they had four children, Beth A. Autin (Chris Catterton), Matthew P. Autin (Roxanne Sundberg), Alison A. Neisler (Michael), and Melanie A. Autin. He was the loving grandfather of Henry W. Neisler. Al was the brother of Bernice A. Parke and Lynda A. Prattini. Al graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from LSUNO in 1971. Before graduation, he earned his CPA certification. After his tenure as a partner at Deloitte & Touche in New Orleans, Al opened his own practice in Mandeville, LA. He was a former president of the Northlake Rotary, a member of the National AICPA, and a volunteer at Madisonville Elementary. He will be dearly missed by his family and clients, many of whom he considered friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Liturgy of the Word on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433, at 6:00 PM with Visitation from 4:00 PM until service time. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, St. Benedict, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in the name of Albert P. Autin, Jr. to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org, or the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org. ===================
