Ledbetter, Sr. (Ikie), 89 of Abita Springs, LA died on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA. Born, Saturday, October 31, 1925 in Spadra, AR to Claude Homer Ledbetter and Letitia Jane Blevins Ledbetter. He was a veteran of three wars: WWII, Korea and Viet Nam as a Merchant Marine. He retired as a Chief Engineer from Lykes Brothers Steamship Co. and Naval Reserve. Throughout his career; he traveled the world many times. He was a member of the VFW and a Free Mason. Survived by his Son - Harry H. Ledbetter, Jr., Daughters - Lotus W. Lynch, MaeLin Reugger (Jerry), Adra L. Johnson (late Russell, Jr.), Cathi Ledbetter Cutrer (Junior), Theresa Bruhl (Thomas A.), 12 Grandchildren, 6 GreatGrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Wife - Anna B. Della Valle Ledbetter, Parents, Son - Joseph Wong Choy, Sisters - Violet "Sis" Vernon, and Frona Puckett, Brothers - Donald Houston Ledbetter, Earl "Dugan" Douglas Ledbetter, and James Ledbetter. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
