He was born in New Orleans, LA on Thursday, July 21, 1949. He graduated from Redemptorist High School in New Orleans. He was in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a member of the Marquette Council Knights of Columbus 1437. He worked at the Golden Cue in Gentilly, Harrah’s Casino and the last 12 years at Target in Covington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward John McGuinness, Sr. and Patricia Bender McGuinness and his brother Kevin Michael McGuinness. He is survived by his three sisters, Judith McGuinness McBrayer (Don), Kathy Sue McGuinness Daggett (Peter) and Mary Beth McGuinness Elliott (Anthony); nephews, Mark Messmer (Kelly), Don Michael McBrayer (Brandy), and Ethan Elliott; nieces, Courtney Amorajabi (Majid), Marissa Wisecarver (Earl), and Emily Elliott; great nephews, Jackson Amorajabi, Jase Amorajabi, and Earl Blake Wisecarver; great nieces, Soraya Amorajabi, Ava Amorajabi, Leilani Wisecarver, Christina Busby, Caroline Messmer and Hannah Schwab.
