Although his time here with us was much too brief, Eric touched many lives with his kindhearted, witty, and charismatic personality. He truly was a friend to all. Eric attended Northlake Christian School in Covington for several years. He was a 2010 Honors Graduate of Mandeville High School where he was voted Most Spirited Senior. Eric studied Mass Communications at LSU. He held a 3rd degree Black Belt in Karate and was known throughout the community as Sensei Eric. He was most recently employed in management with Regal Cinemas. Eric was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Gayle Lorio Brondum and Sara “Nell” Eustis Nordgren. He leaves behind his parents, Gordon “Butch” Nordgren and Terren “Terri” Brondum Nordgren; his sister, Rebecca Nordgren; grandfathers, Leonard Brondum, Jr. and Gordon Nordgren, Sr., numerous loving relatives, friends and family pet, Sassykat. He will be missed by his best buddies, Caleb Soong, Trent Gunter and Scott Blady. Services will be private. Friends and family of Eric, please use this time to celebrate Eric’s life amongst yourselves. You are welcome to post photos on his Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Francis Animal Sanctuary (sfas.org) or the Samaritan Center (samcen.org) in Eric’s name. ===================
