Henry "Poncho" Turkin passed away on January 9, 2015, at his residence in 
Cypress, Texas. 

Henry was born in Lacombe, LA and a resident of Katy since 2001. 

Loving and devoted spouse of Gloria Alexius Turkin for 45 years. 
Son of the late Gilmore and Velma Turkin. 
Devoted father of Paula Laurent (Lyndon), Bryann Turkin (Talitha), Ryann Turkin 
(Katherine) and Vikki Turkin (James). 
Loving Grandfather of Erica (Earl), Blake, Amber, Erick III, Gabrielle, Alexis, 
Sydney, Jordan, Ty, Joshua, Jamin, Jeremy and one great grandaughter, Elle and 
one unborn grandaughter. 

Poncho was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle 
and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Services at 
Greater Northshore Full Gospel Baptist Church, 804 Voters Rd., Slidell on 
Saturday, January 17, at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. 

Interment immediately following at Osey Ordogne Cemetery, Lacombe. 

Serenity Funeral Home, Covington in charge of arrangements.
