He was a native of the Blond community. Mr. Allison is survived by his wife of 24 years, Priscilla Scarpino Murdoch Allison. He was father of Keith B. Allison (Pia), Karen Allison-Taradash (Jack deceased), Edwin P. Allison (Cindy), Gary Murdoch (Kim), and Shawn “Doc” Murdoch (Sara). Son of the late Philip Allison and Vanessa Sharp Allison. He had 8 grandchildren. Mr. Allison was a flavor specialist and had a successful business in Chicago, Allison Flavors Inc., for 40 years. He retired to Blond in 1987. Mr. Allison was a Mason for over 50 years, Past Master of North West Lodge No. 271 in Chicago, IL. Mr. Allison’s great grandfather, Joel M. Allison was an early settler of St. Tammany Parish in the 1800’s and an elected official of Parish Government. His grandfather, Luke Allison and his father, Philip Allison were also elected officials in the Parish. Mr. Allison and his wife were avid tennis players. Private services were held by the family. ===================
